Stanaway rest van seizoen uitgeschakeld na crash op Spa

Richie Stanaway komt dit jaar niet meer in actie in de World Series by Renault. De Nieuw-Zeelander lanceerde zich afgelopen weekend over Carlos Huertas op Spa-Francorchamps en brak daarbij twee ruggenwervels. De hoop op een snel herstel neemt hij zelf weg.

Stanaway: "Ik heb drie tot zes maanden nodig om te genezen van mijn rugblessure. Jammer genoeg betekent dit dat ik de rest van het seizoen mis. Teleurstellend natuurlijk, maar op zo'n moment ben ik blij dat ik een blessure heb opgelopen waarvan ik volledig kan herstellen."
