Rigon voegt zich voor Paul Ricard bij BVM Target

Davide Rigon maakt in Paul Ricard weer eens zijn opwachting in een race. De Italiaan brak in 2011 in Turkije zijn been bij een GP2-wedstrijd en reed sindsdien geen race meer. Hij slijt zijn dagen tegenwoordig als simulator-tester voor Ferrari.

Eerder deze maand stelde de Scuderia hem ook op voor de young drivers-test op Magny-Cours. Dit weekend verschijnt Rigon aan de start van de World Series by Renault op Paul Ricard. De Italiaan is al de vijfde teamgenoot voor vaste rijder Nikolay Martsenko bij BVM Target. De 26-jarige Rigon reed in 2005 al eens vier races in de World Series by Renault met een achtste plek als beste resultaat.
