Antonio Felix da Costa verlengt bij Arden Caterham

Antonio Felix da Costa is zoals verwacht bevestigd bij het team van Arden Caterham voor het World Series by Renault-seizoen 2013. De Portugees maakte in die klasse veel furore in de tweede helft van het afgelopen seizoen, door vier van de laatste vijf races te winnen.

Red Bull nam Felix da Costa vorig jaar op in haar opleidingsprogramma. De 21-jarige coureur combineerde een campagne in de GP3 de laatste maanden van de jaargang met racen in de World Series by Renault. In beide series was hij succesvol. Aan het eind van het jaar mocht hij in Abu Dhabi twee dagen testen voor Red Bull Racing. Felix da Costa schreef tussen de bedrijven door ook de prestigieuze Formule 3-race in Macau op zijn naam.
