Valsecchi vooraan bij tweede testdag

Davide Valsecchi heeft op de tweede testdag van de World Series by Renault op het circuit van Barcelona de snelste tijd gereden. De 20-jarige Italiaan reed zijn snelste tijd vroeg in de ochtend en hij was ook ruim zeven tienden van een seconde sneller dan de snelste tijd van de eerste testdag. Die werd verreden door Ben Haley, die op de tweede dag zesde werd.

De tweede tijd was wederom voor Mikhail Aleshin. De 19-jarige Rus van het team van Carlin Motorsport kwam beide dagen net iets te kort voor de snelste tijd. Op de derde plek was Alvaro Parente terug te vinden. De voormalig coureur voor Team Portugal in de A1 Grand Prix is nieuw bij het team van Tech 1 Racing.

Nederlander Jaap van Lagen was weer niet vooraan terug te vinden. De 30-jarige coureur rijdt dit jaar voor het team waar de kampioen van vorig jaar, Alx Danielsson, ook voor reed, namelijk Comtec Racing.
