Nürburgring op de kalender voor Formule Renault 3.5

De World Series by Renault keert volgend jaar terug naar de Duitse Eifel. De Nürburgring prijkt na een jaar afwezigheid weer op de kalender voor de Formule Renault 3.5. Renault was gebrand op een race in Duitsland, aangezien dat een belangrijke afzetmarkt voor gewone auto's is, weet Autosport.

Arnaud Boulanger, motorsportbaas bij Renault Sport Technologies: "We hebben een schema samen gesteld met veel diversiteit en die is gestructureerd om Formule 1-circuits en de belangrijke markten voor Renault. De geselecteerde banen geven de coureurs de best mogelijke voorbereiding op de uitdagingen die hen nog te wachten staan in hun carrières. Voor ons tiende seizoen vonden we het belangrijk om klassiekers als Spa te combineren met nieuwkomers zoals Jerez."
