GINAF Rally Power houdt het voor gezien

GINAF Rally Power heeft besloten om al haar sportieve activiteiten te beëindigen. Volgens Wuf en Edwin van Ginkel ontbreken de belangrijkste schakels aan de sportieve ketting. "Animo, plezier, tijd en budget zijn de belangrijkste elementen om een team op hoog niveau te runnen. Als één of meer van die zaken ontbreken, dan lukt het niet."

Na bijna vijftien jaar kwamen de gebroeders Van Ginkel tot de conclusie dat het in stand houden van het rallyteam onverantwoord is. "We geven beiden voorrang aan ons bedrijf. Dat is voor ons en de medewerkers het belangrijkste."

De vier wedstrijdtrucks en zes assistentievoertuigen staan te koop. "We hebben een mooie tijd gehad. We hebben veel gezien, veel mensen ontmoet en veel bereikt. Nu is het mooi geweest."
