Matthias Lauda vijf plaatsen terug op startopstelling

Dit weekeinde strijkt het DTM-circus neer op de Lausitzring in Oost-Duitsland. Er is echter een coureur die nu al weet dat hij niet vooraan gaat starten. Matthias Lauda heeft te horen gekregen dat hij op de startopstelling vijf plaatsen wordt teruggezet. De jonge Oostenrijker liet zijn persoonlijk snelste sectortijd noteren tijdens een gele vlag-situatie vanwege een crash van Markus Winkelhock.

De DTM-coureurs lieten tijdens de tweede test gisteren zien dat het dit weekeinde erg dicht bij elkaar gaat zitten. Timo Scheider is de snelste man, maar doet niets onder voor Bernd Schneider: de twee rijden met 1:19.688 exact dezelfde rondetijd. Ook de rest van het veld zit erg dicht bij elkaar. Tussen de snelste en nummer dertien zit slechts een seconde.

De kwalificatie op de Lausitzring wordt vanmiddag verreden. De uitslag kun je uiteraard volgen via F1Today!
