Podium op Oschersleben is voor Audi, Scheider wint

Audi heeft de DTM-race op het circuit van Oschersleben gedomineerd. Regerend kampioen Timo Scheider pakte de zege. De Duitser ging bij de start polesitter Tom Kristensen voorbij en stond die leiding niet meer af. Mattias Ekstrom en Martin Tomczyk vergezelden hem naar het podium.

De beste Mercedes, die van Paul di Resta, eindigde op de vierde positie. Gary Paffett, Bruno Spengler, Maro Engel en Kristensen scoorden ook nog punten. In het kampioenschap leiden Paffett en Ekstrom gezamenlijk, al heeft Paffett twee races gewonnen en Ekstrom nog geen. Scheider volgt op één punt, Spengler heeft vijf punten minder dan het leidende duo.
