Audi dominant, Martin Tomczyk zegeviert

De DTM-race op de Nürburgring is ten prooi gevallen aan Audi-coureur Martin Tomczyk. De rest van het podium werd opgevuld met merkgenoten Timo Scheider en Martin Ekstrom. De beste Mercedes is terug te vinden op plek vijf, die Jamie Green voor zich opeiste.

Scheider en Ekstrom zijn in de stand nu iets weggelopen van de Mercedes-concurrenten. Paul di Resta is ver achterop geraakt. De Schot scoorde tot voor dit weekend in elke race punten, maar moest nu opgeven nadat zijn achtervleugel op het rechte stuk afbrak.
