Heikki Kovalainen gaat DTM-wagen testen

Heikki Kovalainen lijkt zijn motorsportcarrière voort te zetten in de DTM. De Fin zou namelijk deze week een BMW M4 gaan testen op de Lausitzring.

Volgens een statement van BMW zal Kovalainen "de mogelijkheid deze week op de Lausitzring gebruiken om een impressie te krijgen van de BMW M4 DTM", wat aanduidt dat de Fin binnenkort in de toerwagenklasse kan uitkomen.

Heikki Kovalainen was eind 2012 voor het laatst te zien in de Formule 1. De oud-coureur van Renault, McLaren en Caterham verving toen de geblesseerde Kimi Raikkonen bij Lotus.
