Premat snelste in Valencia, Coulthard indrukwekkend snel

Alexandre Premat heeft op de eerste officiële testdag van het jaar de snelste tijd gereden. De Audi-coureur was met een 1:28.666 net iets sneller dan David Coulthard, die een indrukwekkende testdag voor Mercedes reed.

Vandaag konden de voorbereidingen op het komende seizoen dan eindelijk echt gaan beginnen. Audi begon het sterkste met de snelste tijd van Premat. Coulthard volgde knap als tweede op slechts 0.059 seconden van Premat's tijd. Markus Winkelhock completteerde de top drie in zijn Audi.

Bruno Spengler eindigde de eerste testdag als vierde, gevolgd door Ralf Schumacher die drie tienden tekort kwam op Premat. Cong Fu Cheng, die voor Mercedes zijn eerste test reed, eindigde als negende en laatste op anderhalve seconde van Premat.

Morgen wordt er verder getest in Valencia door de DTM-coureurs.
