ARD behoudt uitzendrechten voor de DTM

De DTM is ook de komende twee seizoen op de ARD te zien. Dat heeft de organisatie van de Duitse toerwagenklasse bekendgemaakt. De ARD is ook in Nederland te ontvangen en geldt als mogelijk alternatief voor betaalzender Ziggo Sport om de DTM-races te volgen.

Hans Werner Aufrecht, voorzitter van DTM-promotor ITR: "De langdurige samenwerking met de ARD is een van de factoren voor het succes van de DTM. Ik ben blij dat de televisiekijkers in Duitsland ook de komende jaren op de voorste startrij staan om onze races te bekijken. Het nieuwe concept met twee wedstrijden per weekend en begrijpbare regels zijn enthousiast onthaald door de fans. Daarom gaan we verder op dat traject."

    DTM kan mij eigenlijk niet zo boeien, het voelt als een toneelstukje zoals nascar.

      Of toch een orkest met heer Ecclestone als dirigent en Jean Todt als 1e vioolspeler.. come on, wat is nu geen toneelstuk...

    Zolang alweer geleden dat hij is gestopt met DTM....bizar hoe snel het gaat, hoe dan ook, vond het vanaf jaren 90 tot en met 2008 zeer te pruimen, vooral met de Alfa's, Calibra's, BMW, Audi, Mercedes enz. in één veld. Schitterende tijden.

    Maar ook de DTM is onderhevig aan f1 achtige zaken en dus steeds minder leuk voor mij geworden. Als zo'n ventje als Wehrlein al kampioen kan worden .....

      Nee vind ik van niet. ik vind dat racen misschien te makkelijk is geworden en speeltje is geworden van laptopboys. Uiteraard moet het ding bestuurd worden en zo snel mogelijk rond gaan hoor, fysiek en mentaal moet men het allemaal maar wel even doen.

      Alleen denk ik dat er tegenwoordig minder van een rijder afhangt wat afstellingen en beslissingen nemen dan voorheen, waar de auto een verlengstuk was van de rijder en nu de rijder meer een verlengstuk is van de wagen door die laptopboys....
