Timo Scheider behoud derde plaats van race op Zandvoort

Timo Scheider blijft de als derde gefinishte coureur tijdens de DTM-race in Zandvoort. De Duitser, die de race vanaf de pole startte maar als derde over de streep kwam, was nog in onderzoek bij de wedstrijdleiding vanwege een mogelijke bandenfout.

Op één van de banden die Scheider op zijn Audi gemonteerd kreeg, waren geen barcodes te ontdekken. Deze zijn verplicht op elke band zodat de wedstrijdleiding kan identificeren welke coureur met welke banden heeft gereden. Echter, Scheider blijft gewoon derde in de uitslag van de race op het Circuit Park Zandvoort, zo is vandaag besloten.
