'BMW maakt morgen terugkeer naar DTM wereldkundig'

BMW zal mogelijk morgen meer bekendmaken over hun plannen om terug te keren naar de DTM. Het Duitse Bild meldt dat de autofabrikant vrijdag zal bevestigen dat het terug zal keren naar de DTM vanaf 2012.

Eerder werd een beslissing van BMW op 4 december 2010 verwacht, maar volgens Bild zal de bekendmaking morgen al zijn. Een woordvoerder van BMW wilde er niet teveel over vertellen: "Wij doen niet mee aan geruchten als deze. We zijn op de goede weg, maar nog niet alle zaken zijn geregeld", vertelde Jörg Kottmeier.

Ook van Opel wordt nog voor het einde van 2010 een beslissing verwacht over een eventuele terugkeer naar de DTM.
