Timo Glock: "Plan is om door te gaan in DTM"

Timo Glock was de afgelopen vijf jaar een vaste waarde namens BMW in de DTM. Of de oud Formule 1-coureur ook in 2018 de eer van het Duitse merk verdedigt in de toerwagenklasse, dat staat nog niet vast. Dat geniet wel de voorkeur van de Duitser zelf, maar je weet maar nooit.

Glock, die dit seizoen afsloot op een gedeelde zevende plek met 134 punten: "Ik heb het reuze naar mijn zin in de DTM en ik zou graag ook volgend jaar in de DTM racen. Ik hoop dat het ervan komt, maar het is altijd even afwachten. De winters zijn jammer genoeg erg lang."

"Binnen het concern BMW zijn interessante projecten gaande, we zullen zien hoe het zich ontvouwt", refereert hij aan de WEC/Le Mans- en Formule E-projecten van BMW. "Mijn plan is in elk geval om door te gaan in de DTM."
