ROWE Racing stort zich met BMW in DTM nieuwe stijl

De DTM heeft weer een inschrijving mogen verwelkomen. ROWE Racing verschijnt komend seizoen met een BMW M6 GT3 aan de start. De line-up van de renstal voor 2021 wordt in een later stadium bekendgemaakt. Met de komst van ROWE Racing krijgt de DTM nieuwe stijl steeds meer gestalte.

ROWE-teambaas Hans-Peter Naundorf: "Toetreden tot de DTM is een geweldig verhaal voor ROWE Racing. De DTM heeft een rijke traditie en geldt al jaren als een van de meest populaire en hoogwaardige toerwagenklasses van Europa. De serie stond al langer op onze radar, maar door de overstap naar GT3-auto's is het eindelijk mogelijk om met ROWE de DTM te betreden."

"Voor mij persoonlijk is dat prachtig, aangezien mijn wortels in de DTM liggen. Het is fantastisch om van de partij te zijn bij een nieuwe start voor de klasse, met nieuwe reglementen. Met zijn sprintraces, sterke teams en coureurs en minstens vijf autofabrikanten wordt de DTM een grote uitdaging voor ons, maar we gaan die uitdaging van harte aan."
