BMW zet Joey Hand in M3 DTM bij test op Monteblanco

Joey Hand test volgende week voor BMW de nieuwe DTM-auto voor 2012. De 32-jarige Amerikaan won de GT-klasse in de American Le Mans Series met een BMW M3 en zegevierde ook in de 24 uur van Daytona voor het Duitse merk. Nu krijgt Hand de kans om de DTM-bolide aan de tand te voelen.

Naast Hand komen ook Augusto Farfus, Dirk Werner en de door Mercedes vrij gegeven Bruno Spengler in actie op Monteblanco. Jens Marquardt, motorsportbaas van DTM: We kijken uit naar de feedback van Joey Hand, die samen met Dirk Muller een super seizoen in de ALMS achter de rug heeft. Dit is ook een bewijs van hoe onze diverse autosport-projecten samensmelten. We willen verder Mercedes bedanken voor de toestemming om al met Bruno te testen. We waarderen dit sportieve gebaar en het toont aan hoe gemoedelijk het achter de schermen gaat. We zijn benieuwd naar de eerste indrukken van Bruno over de M3 DTM.
