BMW andermaal aan kop in spannende tweede training

Na een goede start van het weekend in Brands Hatch heeft BMW vandaag wederom de snelste tijd laten noteren op het korte circuit. Augusto Farfus rondde het circuit in 41.312 seconden en was daarmee 35 duizendsten sneller dan Mattias Ekstrom.

Zoals gebruikelijk lagen de tijden op het ´Indy-circuit' van Brands Hatch erg dichtbij elkaar. Het hele veld eindigde binnen 0.885 seconden van de snelste tijd. David Coulthard kende nog wat problemen aan zijn Mercedes, stond lange tijd in de pits en eindigde uiteindelijk als laatste.

Problemen waren er niet voor BMW. Martin Tomczyk, de snelste man van gisteren, eindigde de tweede training met de derde tijd. Ook Gary Paffett en Miguel Molina eindigden nog binnen één tiende van de tijd van Farfus. Timo Scheider, Edoardo Mortara en Jamie Green completeerde de top acht.
