Timo Glock test deze week in Valencia voor BMW

Timo Glock is een van de coureurs die deze week voor BMW in actie komen bij de test in Valencia. De Duitser bestuurt de M3 DTM op woensdag en donderdag, meldt Sport Bild. Hij zou bij BMW terecht kunnen na zijn breuk met Formule 1-team Marussia.

Glock: "Ik ben zeer opgewonden om de DTM-wagen uit te proberen en ook om wat bekende gezichten uit mijn verleden bij BMW weer te zien." Hij was in 2007 testcoureur voor BMW Sauber. Het Duitse merk houdt ondertussen de kaken stijf op elkaar. "We bevestigen niets, we ontkennen niks, we geven gewoon geen commentaar", aldus een woordvoerder tegenover SID. Dat Glock nu vrij is, is slecht nieuws voor Jaime Alguersuari. De Spanjaard was volgens Radioestadio op weg naar een stoeltje bij BMW in de DTM, maar moet nu vrezen dat het niet meer door gaat.
