Elf races op voorlopige kalender 2008

De voorlopige DTM-kalender voor volgend jaar omhelst één race meer dan dit jaar. Frankrijk krijgt de race op het circuit van Le Mans terug en samen met de tien races die in 2007 al op de kalender stonden maakt dat elf races in 2008.

Ook Mugello mag zich weer opmaken voor de DTM. Dit jaar stond de Italiaanse baan voor het eerste op de kalender en dat was een groot succes. Daarom wordt Mugello volgend jaar de tweede race van het seizoen, na de opening op de Hockenheimring.

CircuitPark Zandvoort is inmiddels een vaste klant in de DTM en ook volgend jaar komen Mercedes en Audi naar het circuit in de duinen. Op 13 juli 2008 is de volgende editie van de succesvolle raceklasse in Zandvoort.
