Pirelli onaangedaan door negatieve uitlatingen van coureurs

Bandenleverancier Pirelli haalt zijn schouders op nadat de kritiek van een aantal rijders op de banden de afgelopen weken oplaaide. Sergio Perez verweet de Italiaanse bandenfabrikant de gênante situatie dat de Formule 1 nauwelijks sneller is dan de GP2 en Fernando Alonso noemde de compounds die Pirelli voor 2014 samengesteld heeft te hard.

Pirelli-voorzitter Marco Tronchetti Provera neemt het voor kennisgeving aan. "We luisteren naar alle kritiek, maar we hebben er nooit een geheim van gemaakt dat we voor de start van het nieuwe turbo-tijdperk op veilig zouden spelen. Het is makkelijker om een paar teams van banden te voorzien dan het hele veld. Nu is het zo dat wanneer een team even wat minder presteert en ze weten de oorzaak niet, dat ze met de beschuldigende vinger naar de banden wijzen. Wel zo makkelijk."

Pirelli is nog tot en met 2016 als enige bandenleverancier aan de Formule 1 verbonden. Tronchetti Provera tegenover Speed Week: "We zijn twintig jaar afwezig geweest in de Formule 1 vanwege de kosten. Bernie Ecclestone heeft ons herhaaldelijk gevraagd, maar elke keer antwoordde ik dat we alleen tegen betaling terug zouden keren. Pas halverwege 2010 werd ons duidelijk dat de enige bandenleverancier betaald kreeg. Dus deden we een poging en viel de keuze op ons."

Oplossing. 1 type band per race, ben je van al dat gezeik af. Zal je zien dat ze deze ook aan gort rijden, maar dan kan je alsnog wisselen.

Ho ho Pirelli vorig seizoen werd meteen het compound veranderd toen Red Bull en Mercedes klaagden,waarvan Lotus en Ferrari slachtoffer werden.En volgens mij heeft Force India niets te klagen ze constateren het alleen.Gewoon de kop in het zand Pirelli.Ik zal nog eens flink na gaan denken om ze te adviseren bij mij in de garage
