Magnussen baalt van straf

Kevin Magnussen deed eigenlijk voor spek en bonen mee aan de kwalificatie voor de Grand Prix van Bahrein. De Deense Renault-coureur kreeg na de trainingen op vrijdag een straf vanwege het missen van de weegbrug en moet daardoor vanuit de pits starten.

In de kwalificatie kon Renault geen potten breken. Magnussen reed een negentiende tijd, net voor teamgenoot Jolyon Palmer. Ondanks de matige kwalificatie baalt Magnussen van zijn straf: "Ik dacht dat het rode licht voor de weegbrug voor Daniil Kvyat was, die voor mij reed. Blijkbaar was het ook voor. Ik heb het verkeerd begrepen, maar heb het zeker niet met opzet gedaan. Ik richt me nu op de race, hopelijk kunnen we een flink stuk naar voren komen."

      Ik ben het wel met herbert eens, Rood is rood.
      Het zelfde als pits uitrijden met rood.
      Het is dus meer een fout van magnussen, wel zuur.

      hamilton dingetje:
      "He reversed about half a metre once the cars had pulled into the parc ferme area with no incoming traffic and photographers were safely gathered around behind barriers. Any sort of penalty for this would have been the dumbest thing, but you never know with F1 these days. Glad it is only a reprimand."

      Als het zo is dan is daar weinig loos, maar wel tegen de regels in.

    Tja de een krijg al straf voor een foutje, en de ander een waarschuwing. Hoezo met twee maten meten. Gaat totaal nergens meer over, dat je het team een straf geeft wegens het sleutelen oke.
    . Maar ik vond de fout van Hammie dan ook gepast tijd kwijt en achteraan starten. Of nog beter geen straffen meer want ze zijn 9 van de 10 x zinloos.

      Top sport is top sport. Als je het rode licht krijgt moet je gecontroleerd worden. Mis je dit door een eigen 'foutje' is jammer dan. Maar hier zijn ze heel streng op, op dit soort reglementen. Wat Hamilton deed was gewoon een klein stukje achteruit rijden op eigen kracht in de pits. Hoewel dit verboden is, was er geen enkel gevaar en kan dit ook niks te maken hebben met 'valsspelen.' Dus de ernst van het foutje van Hamilton was minder. Dus er wordt zeker niet met twee maten gemeten.

      Dit is wel buiten het feit om dat er misschien wel te snel een straf word uitgedeeld. Als de straffen het racen 'tegenhouden' en ja dat gebeurd, ben ik er ook niet altijd voorstander van...

      Ja precies, toen Hamilton een rood licht niet zag in Canada kreeg hij 10 plaatsen straf voor de volgende race. De coureur die bij hem achterop klapte kreeg geen enkele straf. Het is soms absurd hoe die straffen worden uitgedeeld.

    Ik heb het gevoel dat Magnussen snel iets moet laten zien, anders is hij komend jaar weer weg uit de F1. Dit soort dingen mogen eigenlijk niet gebeuren en het kan domme pech zijn, maar de fouten herinneren mensen zich sneller dan de weinige goeie dingen die hij heeft laten zien.
