Daniil Kvyat: "Alles leek goed voor de race"

Daniil Kvyat zijn race kwam al vroeg ten einde toen hij zijn Scuderia Toro Rosso STR11 in de pits moest parkeren. Kvyat is teleurgesteld zo laat hij weten aan The Checkered Flag. Kvyat had een uitstekende kwalificatie waar hij zijn Toro Rosso naar de zesde tijd stuurde.

"Het is een teleurstellende dag, ik had de mogelijkheid om een paar ronden te racen voordat ik moest stoppen. We hadden een probleem aan de achterwielophanging, de auto werd lastig te besturen aan het begin van de race, zelfs na een redelijke eerste ronde. Daarna moesten we stoppen. Het is jammer, maar dat hoort ook bij de autosport. Ik zal het uit mijn hoofd zetten en we gaan werken aan de volgende race. Ik heb er vertrouwen in want de auto was goed."

Zonde, hij kan wel een beetje geluk gebruiken. Hopelijk laat hij nog wat mooie dingen zien want dat heeft hij toch ook wel bewezen. Nu Kvyat al gaan afschieten is te kort door de bocht imo. Hij heeft echt wel een dreun gekregen door de swap met Max.
