Verstappen te gast bij ski-afdaling Hahnenkamm

Max Verstappen woonde dit weekend de Hahnenkamm-Rennen bij. Op uitnodiging van sponsor Red Bull was hij samen met onder meer Toro Rosso-rijders Carlos Sainz en Daniil Kvyat en MotoGP-kampioen Marc Marquez toeschouwer bij de ski-afdeling van de beroemde Hahnenkamm.

Na een intensieve week vol trainingen en een sessie met de nieuwe auto van Red Bull Racing in de simulator was het tijd voor wat ontspanning. De jonge Nederlander bond ook zelf nog de lange latten onder. Hij nam deel aan een ski-afdeling voor het goede doel, de zogeheten Charity Trophy.

De Hahnenkamm is geen onbekend terrein voor Verstappen. Vorig jaar verzorgde hij daar een spectaculaire Formule 1-demo in een Red Bull Racing RB7, ter promotie van de Grand Prix van Oostenrijk. Vorige week scheurde Marquez met zijn motor door de sneeuw over dezelfde berg.
