Force India verwelkomt Unifin als nieuwe sponsor

Het team van Force India heeft een nieuwe sponsor aan de haak geslagen. Het gaat om Unifin, een bedrijf gespecialiseerd in financiële dienstverlening. De firma heeft zich voor dit seizoen aan de Indiase renstal verbonden, maar het logo van Unifin zal alleen tijdens het Grand Prix-weekend in Mexico op de VJM10 prijken.

De rest van het jaar neemt het bedrijf genoegen met een plek op de overalls van coureurs Sergio Perez en Esteban Ocon. Force India-teambaas Vijay Mallya: "Het doet me deugd om Unifin te verwelkomen als teampartner. Ze hebben onze sterke resultaten van de voorbije jaren gezien en willen onderdeel uitmaken van onze toekomstige successen. Ze herkennen de aantrekkingskracht van de Formule 1 als manier om een globaal publiek aan te spreken."

Force India is sowieso druk in de weer met nieuwe partner. Zo rijdt de Indiase renstal dit weekend met een pink ribbon op de auto's om aandacht te vragen voor borstkanker, het resultaat van een meerjarige overeenkomst met Breast Cancer Care. Daarnaast sloot het team in de aanloop naar de Grand Prix van Monaco ook een akkoord met SPORTbible om de Formule 1 onder de aandacht te brengen bij een jonger publiek.
