Esteban Ocon bezorgt monteurs extra werk door crash

Voor de monteurs van Force India is het flink zweten om de auto van Esteban Ocon op tijd klaar te krijgen voor de kwalificatie. De Fransman ging in de tweede bocht bij het zwembad in de fout en schoof met een beschadigde auto in de baanafzetting.

Het ongeluk van Ocon gebeurde op dezelfde plek en manier als Max Verstappen vorig jaar. Ocon stuurde iets te vroeg in, waarbij de stuurstang brak. Ocon ging ook nog over de gele kerbstone wat de schade nog wat groter maakte.
