Rode vlag Grand Prix van Azerbeidzjan

Na 22 ronden wordt de Grand Prix van Azerbeidzjan stilgelegd met een rode vlag. Het was voor de derde keer dat er een Safety Car in de baan kwam, maar er lag zoveel rommel op de baan dat ze besloten de wedstrijd voorlopig te staken.

Als voor de derde keer er een herstart is zijn het de beide Force India's van Sergio Perez en Esteban Ocon die hard met elkaar in aanraking komt. Perez verliest een groot deel van zijn voorvleugel waar uiteindelijk Kimi Raikkönen zijn auto op stuk rijdt en ook uitvalt.

De wagens staan in de pitstraat en zoals het er nu naar uitziet komt er een staande herstart vanaf de grid.
