Giovinazzi en Stroll testen voor Pirelli op Silverstone

Het Grand Prix-weekend op het circuit van Silverstone is voltooid verleden tijd en bijna alle teams hebben hun spullen gepakt en zijn vertrokken. Bijna alle teams, want de motorhomes van Haas F1 Team en Williams staan er nog. Die renstallen voeren vandaag en morgen een bandentest voor Pirelli uit.

Haas F1 heeft testrijder Antonio Giovinazzi opgeroepen om de tests met de prototypes van de banden voor 2018 uit te voeren. De Italiaan hoeft zich niet eenzaam te voelen, aangezien Williams eveneens voor Pirelli test op Silverstone. De Britse renstal doet een beroep op Lance Stroll. Op het programma staat een test met slicks, maar door het verraderlijke Engelse weer heeft Pirelli een back-up plan voor een test met regenbanden.
