Force India zet tijdens eerste testweek vier rijders in

Het team van Force India heeft het testschema voor de voorbereiding op het Formule 1-seizoen 2018 bekendgemaakt. De Indiase renstal doet tijdens de eerste testweek - van 26 februari tot en met 1 maart op het Circuit de Catalunya nabij Barcelona - een beroep op vier verschillende coureurs.

Ontwikkelingscoureur Nikita Mazepin opent op de eerste dag het bal. De jonge Rus overhandigt de VJM11 de volgende dag aan Esteban Ocon, die de bolide op zijn beurt voor de derde dag afstaat aan teamgenoot Sergio Perez. Testrijder Nicholas Latifi mag de eerste week op donderdag afsluiten.

De tweede testweek - van 6 tot en met 9 maart op het Circuit de Catalunya nabij Barcelona - is gereserveerd voor de reguliere coureurs. Perez neemt de eerste dag en de derde dag voor zijn rekening. Ocon rijdt op de tweede dag en op de vierde dag voor Force India.
