Max Verstappen mocht, evenals vorig jaar, als eerste met de nieuwste bolide van Red Bull Racing als eerste de baan op. Het team laat haar nieuwe bolide, dit jaar genaamd RB16, altijd op Silverstone de eerste rondjes rijden. Red Bull Racing heeft daar beelden van geschoten en die zie je hier:
