Esteban Ocon blij met feedback Fernando Alonso

Esteban Ocon zal volgend jaar Fernando Alonso als teamgenoot krijgen. De Fransman heeft dit jaar Daniel Ricciardo als teamgenoot, maar die vertrekt volgend jaar naar McLaren. Naast Ricciardo heeft Ocon het lastig. De Australiër staat vierde in het kampioenschap met 95 punten, terwijl de jonge Franse coureur op de dertiende plaats staat met slechts 40 punten.

Het zal daarom interessant worden of Ocon volgend jaar een beter seizoen draait naast Alonso of dat hij het eveneens moeilijk krijgt.

Ocon vertelt Alonso over Dakar

Ocon is echter wel blij met de mening van Alonso. Het hebben van een paar extra die toezicht houden op de ontwikkelingen voor 2021 kunnen alleen maar voordelen opleveren voor het hele team, zo vertelde hij na het weekend op Imola. De 24-jarige coureur: "We hadden afgelopen weekend de kans om hem te spreken. Ik vertelde Fernando dat ik zijn serie op Amazon had bekeken, ik vertelde hem over zijn Dakar-avontuur."

"Allemaal leuk natuurlijk voor nu. Als we aan het werk zijn is hij erg geïnteresseerd in hoe alles gaat, hij bereidt zich voor op volgend jaar. Hij begint iedereen weer te leren kennen. Het is normaal dat we hem steeds vaker zullen zien. Hij laat ons aan het werk, maar we hebben wat technische vergaderingen gehad waar hij bij is."

"Hij testte de auto, wat erg goed was om zijn feedback te hebben en zijn mening over dingen te hebben. Drie meningen hebben in plaats van twee is altijd een goede zaak en een goede bevestiging voor de ingenieurs."

Alpine

Het Renault-team wijzigt volgend jaar haar naam net als de kleuren. In een voornamelijk blauwe wagen met rode en witte accenten zullen Ocon en Alonso rijden voor het merk Alpine, het sportieve merk van Renault, dat weer tot leven gebracht moet worden.

Eerst een bericht dat Alonso voor de setup voor de auto van de afgelopen GP heeft gezorgd en nu dit weer wat een slijmballen parade .
Schijnbaar hebben ze niet in de gaten dat ze eigelijk zeggen dat ze zelf niks inbrengen maar dat Alonso alles oplost .

  Inderdaad. Als een kind over zijn held gaan praten, terwijl die er niet eens in geïnteresseerd is. En het ergste is nog dat Alonso feedback geeft over de auto. Dat had hij, en ik begrijp ook wel Riciardo niet, als topcoureur niet. Hetzelfde voor RP, waar Hulkenberg feedback geeft voor verbeteren? Waarom kunnen de 2 andere coureurs dat niet?

Hij gaat Ricciardo waarschijnlijk nog flink missen maar dat zal hij waarschijnlijk nooit toegeven.

Hij is eraan met het aas bezet ,hij zal alles moeten uittesten en Alonso zal met de pluimen gaan lopen zoals bij Vandoorne het geval was. Alonso zal agressieve motor instellingen mogen gebruiken en Ocon niet en gaat ie kapot geen haan die er over kraait bij renault maar als ocon in de lage subtop zal rijden zal hij de hele reutemeteut over hem krijgen
