McLaren strikt cryptovalutahandelaar Bitci.com als nieuwe partner

Het team van McLaren heeft vlak voor aanvang van het nieuwe Formule 1-seizoen nog een nieuwe partner gepresenteerd. Het gaat om Bitci.com, een handelaar in cryptovaluta. McLaren zal samen met Bitci.com een officieel fan token lanceren en het logo van de firma prijkt in 2021 op de MCL35M en de helmen van coureurs Daniel Ricciardo en Lando Norris.

Mark Waller, commercieel directeur bij McLaren: "Het doet ons deugd om Bitci.com als nieuwe partner aan te kondigen. Deze overeenkomst is voor langere termijn en de introductie van een fan token is de eerste in zijn soort. We kijken ernaar uit om met Bitci.com samen te werken en verheugen ons erop om hun logo komend weekend in Bahrein al op onze auto's te zien."

Namens Bitci.com vult voorzitter Çağdaş Çağlar aan: "De Formule 1 behoort tot de meest geprezen en best bekeken sporten ter wereld. Het feit dat McLaren, een geweldig team dat beschouwd wordt als legendarische naam in de Formule 1, ervoor gekozen heeft samen te werken met een Turkse firma is significant. Het vormt het bewijs van het wereldwijde succes van Turkse ondernemers, engineers en software ontwikkelaars."

Hadden ze een aantal jaar geleden nog een nagenoeg sponsorvrije wagen,maar nu de weg naar boven is gevonden zijn er steeds meer bedrijven die hiervan mee willen profiteren.

Gaat lekker daar bij McLaren.
Hadden ze een aantal jaar geleden nog een nagenoeg sponsorvrije wagen,maar nu de weg naar boven is gevonden zijn er steeds meer bedrijven die hiervan mee willen profiteren.

McLaren zitten dik in de schulden dus ze kunnen elke sponsor goed gebruiken.

  Er is een verschil tussen dik in de schulden zitten en je exploitatie niet rondkrijgen. Dat laatste in met de budgetcap geen probleem, deze sponsor neemt een minuscuul hapje uit de schulden.
