Fernando Alonso ruilt weer eens een helm. "Jij rockster!"

De vitrinekasten van Fernando Alonso zijn al rijkelijk gevuld met allerlei bokalen en trofeeën, toch is er in het Alonso-museum kennelijk nog wel plaats voor wat extra vitrinekasten.

Na zijn terugkeer in de Formule 1 lijkt Alonso een nieuwe hobby te hebben gevonden. De Alpine-coureur wisselt dit jaar regelmatig van helm met zijn collega's na een gereden race.

Zo wisselde Alonso al eerder van hoofdbeschermer met George Russell. Daarbij schreef Alonso voor Russell een boodschap waarbij hij de jonge Britse coureur betitelde als 'toekomstig wereldkampioen'. De boodschap schreef hij op de helm die hij ruilde met Russell.

Na afloop van de Grand Prix van Oostenrijk verruilde de 37-jarige Spanjaard zijn helm met de 21-jarige Lando Norris.

Lando Norris schreef een keurige boodschap voor Alonso: "Fernando, dank dat jij mij alles leerde toen ik bij McLaren kwam."

De wereldkampioen van 2005 en 2006 gaf na de Oostenrijkse Grand Prix zijn helm aan Norris en en schreef er ook boodschap voor Norris op: "Jij bent een ster, een rockster!! Veel geluk gewenst in de toekomst, Lando!"

Alonso bezit een kartbaan in de regio van zijn geboorteplaats Oviedo in Spanje. Daarbij is ook een museum over Fernando Alonso: het Museo y circuito Fernando Alonso. De kans is dus groot dat bezoekers daar binnenkort de helm van Lando Norris kunnen aanschouwen.

Stiekem is die alonso gewoon een hamsteraar, als hij niet kon racen was het echt zo´n kringloop eigenaar geweest in een uithoek in Spanje.

Zo een helm van Alonso moet toch onderhand niets meer waard zijn, hoeveel keer hij er eentje ruilt... Er zijn minder banden dan helmen van Alonso in de F1-paddock.

Slimme jongen, die Alonso.
Spaart op deze manier een fantastisch museum bij elkaar.
Alle raceauto's waarmee hij gereden heeft, staan daar omdat hij overal heeft heeft afgesproken dat hij de auto gratis mee mag nemen bij beëindiging van het contract.
