Waarom helmcamera's nog niet ingevoerd kunnen worden

Formule 1-coureur Fernando Alonso reed dit weekend met een helmcamera over het circuit van Spa Francorchamps. Dit zorgde voor mooie beelden, maar waarom kan dat niet worden ingevoerd.

Hierbij is één ding belangrijk, het moet overal of nergens. Dit heeft te maken met eerlijk concurrentie. Het ding weegt ongeveer 2,5 gram, dit is niet veel en kan zo worden doorgevoerd. Alleen het probleem is, het kan alleen in de helmen van het merk Bell. Hier rijden niet alle coureurs mee, dus moeten de andere fabrikanten hun helmen doorontwikkelen. 

Max Verstappen kan daarom niet rijden met een helm en Max is niet de enige. De coureurs die wel met een helmcamera kunnen rijden zijn: Alonso, Hamilton, Leclerc, Kimi, Norris, Gasly, Ocon, Giovinazzi, Russell, Latifi en Mazepin.

    Het zijn hele mooie helmen. Het moet toch kunnen op een of andere manier in de Schuberth helmen. Zeker voor seizoen 2022.

    Dan geef je de coureurs met een andere helm tot de tijd dat elke helmfabrikant dat in huis heeft toch gewoon 2,5 gram aan extra gewicht mee.

    Dat ‘wij’ op het forum weer de oplossing moeten bedenken...

      Hoezo? Er staat dat ie niet de enige is...

      Waarschijnlijk is een helm dus sowieso niet nodig en hebben anderen alleen op voor de gebruikelijke sponsoruitingen.

    Helm cameras zijn dus wel ingevoerd. In tegenstelling tot de titel. Het feit dat Alonso in een officiële sessie deze kan gebruiken, betekent dat de FIA deze goedgekeurd heeft.

    na 1 rondje heb je t ook wel gezien. Leukste is eigenlijk nog dat je het dashboard kunt zien, maar t zou misschien leuker zijn als ze die (af en toe) 1 op 1 in een graphic in het hoekje van het scherm mee kunnen laten lopen.
