Enthousiaste Ocon ziet succesvolle nieuwe regels: "Kunnen voetbal inhalen"

Het afgelopen Formule 1-seizoen stond bol van bizarre gebeurtenissen. Veel coureurs eindigde op het podium, het titelduel was spannend als nooit te voren en bijna elk weekend was er wel veel drama op en naast de baan. Veel fans genoten dan ook van het seizoen.

Niet alleen de fans genoten van de strijd, ook de coureurs zelf glunderden veelvuldig. Aankomend seizoen kan alles weer anders zijn, er worden immers nieuwe regels ingevoerd. De nieuwe regelementen moeten er voor gaan zorgen dat de heren coureurs elkaar makkelijker kunnen inhalen, nog meer spektakel dus.

Boeiende races

Alpine-coureur Esteban Ocon geniet in ieder geval van de sport. In gesprek met Motorsportweek is hij enthousiast: "Ik denk dat de manier waarop de sport zich ontwikkeld fantastisch is. Natuurlijk zijn er nog dingen die beter kunnen maar ik denk dat de dingen die we proberen goed zijn en de races waren boeiend. De manier waarop er kansen liggen tegenwoordig, het is te gek tot de laatste ronde."

Voetbal

Ocon geniet van de manier waarop er nu wordt geracet. De Fransman denkt dat de nieuwe regels de sport verder vooruit gaan helpen. Zijn verwachtingen zijn hoog: "Die laatste ronde in 2021 somt het hele seizoen wel een beetje op. Het was zo in 2020 en het ging ook zo in 2021. Als we de auto's dichter bij elkaar hebben kunnen we voetbal inhalen als je het hebt over hoe interessant de sport is. Dat gaat echt gebeuren als dat het geval is!"

Is wel moeilijk, kijk een WK kijkt iedereen als zijn land meedoet. Maar als Max niet zo goed deed keek er in Nederland ook de helft minder. Netflix heeft wel een flinke boost gegeven, maar met dit succes zijn er ook mindere kanten doordat er supporters met minder respect kijken naar de races. Ik bedoel juichen als iemand in de muur beland is schandalig.

  Heb het even opgezocht. Is een spelletje voor 22 mensen die achter een bal aan rennen. Als ze hem eenmaal hebben schoppen ze hem weer weg. Wordt veel gespeeld door goede acteurs in het nadoen van blessures.

  Een beetje rondjes rijden in een auto.
  Ze doen het niet eens zelf maar laten zich vervoeren.
  Wordt veel gedaan door acteurs die ook wel eens gordijnen dragen en klagen dat de anderen straffen moeten krijgen..

  Daarom is viaplay perfect voor me. F1, mma, darten én voetbal.

Sinds Arjen Robben, met z’n snelheid, gestopt is maakte de F1 wel een kleine kans om het voetbal in te halen, maar nu ze zelf de auto’s weer langzamer gaan maken kan de F1 het vergeten...

Ik ben bang dat ocon niet weet in hoeveel landen voetbal volksport nr 1 is . Zelfs in de landen waar f1 het grootst is is voetbal nog steeds groter . Maar meer wheel to wheel action is wel een goede verbetering iig
