Het team van Williams heeft voor aankomend seizoen nog één stoeltje over. Eén van de kanshebbers voor dat stoeltje is de Amerikaanse Formule 2-coureur Logan Sargeant. De Amerikaan is als juniorcoureur verbonden aan het Britse team en mocht in ieder geval al eventjes proeven aan Formule 1-materiaal.

Williams deelt namelijk beelden van een bijzondere demo run van Sargeant. Nabij het hoofdkantoor van Williams mocht de Amerikaan namelijk plaatsnemen achter het stuur van de Williams FW08C. De wagen is een doorontwikkeling van de FWO8 waarmee Keke Rosberg in 1982 wereldkampioen werd. Sargeant mag over een aantal weken ook in actie komen in hedendaags materiaal tijdens de eerste vrije training in Austin.

Ik ben persoonlijk een beetje klaar met dit soort korte filmpjes waarin je eigenlijk helemaal niks te zien krijgt of te horen krijgt. Ik zou het mooier vinden als teams meer tijd besteden aan het maken van een wat meer informatief filmpje en dit dan gebruiken als trailer.
