Verstappen en Norris sluiten seizoen feestend af

Max Verstappen sloot zijn seizoen afgelopen weekend in stijl af. De Nederlandse Red Bull Racing-coureur won de Grand Prix van Abu Dhabi en dat was zijn vijftiende zege in zijn kampioensjaar. Na afloop van de seizoensfinale vierde Verstappen vanzelfsprekend een feestje, hij ging op pad met een andere coureur.

Na afloop gingen er namelijk beelden rond van de afterparty in Abu Dhabi. Verstappen vermaakt zich overduidelijk opperbest, ook McLaren-coureur Lando Norris is op de beelden te zien. De twee coureurs kunnen het zeer goed met elkaar vinden en gamen regelmatig samen. Norris kende tevens een goed seizoen, hij was de enige coureur die niet rijdt voor een top drie-team die op het podium eindigde.

    Flinke party. De staat met een glaasje water in de hand, de ander zit op zijn telefoon te klooien. Kelly die maar wat mee gluurt ipv snoeihard uitgewoond te worden.
    Het is wel gezelliger dan met een glaasje water en een paar mannen in een blokhutje monopolie spelen maar het houdt in beide gevallen niet echt over. Dat moet gewoon beter kunnen, sportman of niet.

    Lando en Max gamen niet alleen veel samen, maar gaan ook vaak samen uit in Monaco.
    Zo gaan ze vaak naar de nachtclub Jimmy 'Z, die ook deze party in Abu Dhabi heeft
    georganiseerd ter afsluiting van het F1 seizoen. Max heeft een cap van Jimmy "'Z op.

    Norris was de enige van de niet top 3 teams die dit jaar op het podium eindigde. Het racen is dan dit jaar misschien beter geworden, wel minder verrassingen. Vorig jaar hadden we Ocon, Alonso, Vettel, Norris, Ricciardo. Gasly en Russell (toen nog Williams).

      Ergens wel een beetje logisch te verklaren. Vorig jaar hadden we eigenlijk maar een top 2. Als dan 1 team, of van beide teams 1 coureur, het een race laat afweten dan is er gelijk een podiumplek beschikbaar voor diegene die op dat moment "best of the rest" is.
      Met 3 duidelijke topteams moet er al een stuk meer mis gaan voordat er voor de rest een podium te behalen valt.

      Eigenlijk is het te hopen dat er meer teams gaan aankloppen bij de top, in ieder geval bij een paar races. De Alpine in handen van Alonso kwam dit seizoen af en toe al wat dichterbij, maar nog niet genoeg. Als er een team is dat een paar uitschieters kan maken zoals Williams in Spanje 2012 zou al leuk zijn.
