Verstappen en De Vries direct opgeroepen voor persconferentie FIA

Vandaag verschijnen de heren coureurs op het Bahrain International Circuit voor de eerste dag van het raceweekend. De gebruikelijke persdag wordt weer afgewerkt en dat betekent ook dat de persconferenties van de FIA op het programma staan. Zowel Max Verstappen als Nyck de Vries zullen hierbij aanschuiven.

Net als in de laatste raceweekenden van vorig seizoen melden de helft van de coureurs zich in de perszaal terwijl de andere helft verplicht naar de TV Pen moet. Om 15:30 lokale tijd melden Nyck de Vries, Fernando Alonso, Nico Hülkenberg, Oscar Piastri en Logan Sargeant zich in de perszaal. Om 16:05 is het de beurt aan Verstappen, Guanyu Zhou, Pierre Gasly, Charles Leclerc en George Russell.

Het rondje in de TV Pen wordt tegelijkertijd met de start van de persconferentie afgetrapt. Als eerste zullen Valtteri Bottas, Yuki Tsunoda, Carlos Sainz, Lando Norris en Alexander Albon hier verschuiven. De overige coureurs melden zich daarna bij de cameraploegen, het is nog onduidelijk of Lance Stroll of Felipe Drugovich zich hier zal melden namens het team van Aston Martin. Teambazen Andrea Stella, Christian Horner en Frédéric Vasseur schuiven op vrijdag aan. Technische kopstukken Pat Fry, Dan Fallows en Mike Elliott sluiten het persrondje op vrijdag af.

    Zoals ik al eerder schreef is Pa Sainz ook de hele week al in Bahrein.
    Hij was als één van de eersten op het circuit vanmorgen.
    Wat moet hij tijdens de media dag op het circuit?
    Zijn alle vaders daar altijd aanwezig? Heb er nog nooit één gezien,
    misschien wel managers als er iets belangrijks/nieuws was.

    Wel jammer dat Vandoorne niet invalt... De Vries, Hulkenberg, Vandoorne en Verstappen lekker Nederlands praten voor 15 minuten lang terwijl er nog 1 bij zit die er niks van begrijpt... was heel vermakelijk geweest
