Video: Norris geeft uitgebreide rondleiding door futuristisch McLaren-hoofdkwartier

Loop mee met McLaren-coureur Lando Norris terwijl hij je een uitgebreide tour door het McLaren Technology Centre geeft. De jonge Britse Formule 1-piloot begeleid je onder andere over de beroemde boulevard, geeft stukjes achtergrondinfo over een aantal historische McLaren-auto’s en bezoekt op de video ook de afdelingen die verantwoordelijk zijn voor de productie van haar Formule 1-bolides.

Het McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) is al sinds 2004 officieel in gebruik genomen, maar ook tegenwoordig ziet het hoofdkwartier van McLaren er nog steeds ultramodern uit. De faciliteit, waar tegenwoordig zo’n 1000 mensen hun dagelijkse werkzaamheden verrichten, biedt onderdak aan niet alleen de plantage waarin McLaren-wagens voor de openbare weg worden geproduceerd, maar heeft ook alle afdelingen in huis die de Formule 1-auto’s van het papajakleurige team maken.
