Norris geeft meer duidelijkheid over horlogeroof

Daags na de Saoedische Grand Prix meldde McLaren-coureur Lando Norris zich in de rechtbank in zijn thuisland Groot-Brittannië. Norris moest zich niet melden voor een vergrijp, maar om te spreken over een overval op hem na afloop van de finale van het EK voetbal in 2021. Norris gaf meer duidelijkheid over de zaak.

Het was al eventjes bekend dat Norris na de finale tussen Engeland en Italië was beroofd bij het Wembley-stadion in de Britse hoofdstad Londen. Op de desbetreffende dag in juli 2021 werd Norris beroofd van zijn zeer dure horloge, veel duidelijkheid over de zaak was er echter nog niet. Norris verscheen afgelopen maandag in de rechtszaal om te getuigen.

Volgens The Independent gaf Norris bij de rechtbank aan dat hij werd beroofd terwijl hij naar zijn auto liep na afloop van de wedstrijd. Volgens de McLaren-coureur werd hij opgewacht door twee mensen. Hij werd vervolgens in een nekklem genomen door één van de verdachten, hij werd naar achteren getrokken waardoor hij enkel nog de lucht kon zien. Norris werd door verdachte twee beroofd van zijn horloge. De Brit gaf aan dat hij de verdachte niet kent, de verdachte ontkent dan ook. De rechtbank moet nog uitspraak doen in de zaak.

    Als Norris had aangegeven de verdachte wel te kennen had deze dan bekend?

      Dat horloge draagt een serienummer ' de verdachte heeft dat in zijn bezit. Strafmaat is gestolen goederen in bezit.

      Als Norris hem had herkend was daar ook overval bij gekomen - bekennen ipv liegen kan wel een verschil maken in de strafmaat bepaling.

      Ben je iets van plan misschien? 🙃😉

      Toen Lando de rechtszaal binnen kwam zei de rechter dat hij te laat was , en of hij wel wist hoe laat her al was .
      Lando keek op het klokje om z'n pols en............Foutje ,bedankt .
