Ocon enthousiast over nieuwe Alpine-investeerder Ryan Reynolds

Het team van Alpine maakte eerder deze week bekend dat ze nieuwe investeerders hebben aangetrokken. Dit consortium bestaat uit meerdere grote investeringsbedrijven die in totaal 24 procent van de aandelen in handen hebben gekregen. Esteban Ocon is enthousiast over de investering van Hollywood-acteur Ryan Reynolds.

Het bedrijf Maximum Effort Investments behoort ook tot het consortium en wordt geleid door de bekende acteur Ryan Reynolds. De acteur is geen onbekende in de sportwereld, eerder nam hij samen met collega-acteur Rob McElhenney ook de Britse voetbalclub Wrexham over. Dit werd een succesvol project, de club uit Wales is momenteel extreem populair en boekt ook sportieve successen.

In Oostenrijk laat Alpine-coureur Esteban Ocon weten dat hij blij is met de komst van Reynolds. De Franse coureur laat aan Motorsport.com weten dat hij zelfs al met de acteur heeft gesproken: "Ik vind het fantastisch. Ik prijs mijzelf gelukkig dat ik dinsdag al met Ryan heb gesproken. We hadden contact via WhatsApp. Ik zat in de simulator en ik heb dan meestal mijn telefoon bij de hand. Ik besloot een foto te maken en naar Ryan te sturen via sociale media. Hij vond dat leuk en ik heette hem welkom en hij reageerde direct. Daarna stuurde hij zijn nummer en zijn e-mailadres en spraken we elkaar op WhatsApp."

Deadpool

Ocon, een groot liefhebber van comicboeken, kreeg ook een uitnodiging van Reynolds om een kijkje te komen nemen op een filmset. Aangezien de acteur speelt in de filmreeks Deadpool, reageerde Ocon enorm enthousiast: "Hij liet mij weten dat ik welkom ben op de set van Deadpool in Londen! Ik ga daar zeker weten heen! Hij zei ook dat hij ernaar uitkijkt om meer over onze wereld te leren en te zien hoe alles werkt en om met mij over racen te praten."

En ik kruip toch ook al richting 50.
Over het algemeen zou de wereld wat mooier zijn als iedereen zich wat jeugdiger zou gedragen. verlies nooit je speelsheid.

Ocon komt bij mij vaak over alsof hij een beetje stil staat in zijn jeugd...

Vind ik altijd wat vreemd overkomen, maar wel leuk voor hem dat hij zijn marvel acteur mag ontmoeten middels deze weg.

  Ik ben in het bezit van +/- 750 comics van Marvel en ik ben bijna 65.
  
  Ik ben ze gaan verzamelen vanaf m'n 12de.
  Favoriete comics zijn Avengers (Werkers of Vergelders) en Fantastic Four (Vier Verdedigers).
  Ook Spiderman.
