Horner moet niet denken aan titelstrijd: "Ben nog aan het bijkomen van 2021"

Het team van Red Bull Racing heeft een ijzersterke eerste seizoenshelft achter de rug. De Oostenrijkse renstal wist de alle Grands Prix te winnen en heeft met stercoureur Max Verstappen een enorme voorsprong in het wereldkampioenschap. Teambaas Christian Horner is trots en hij moet er niet aan denken om een fel titelgevecht uit te vechten.

Red Bull begon het huidige seizoen als de grote favoriet, al tijdens de seizoensopener maakten ze die favorietenrol waar. De zege van Verstappen in Sakhir was een voorbode voor een opvallend sterke eerste helft van het seizoen. Verstappen won slechts tweemaal niet en ik die twee races ging de zege naar zijn teamgenoot Sergio Perez. Ook alle Sprints werden gewonnen door de Red Bull-coureurs.

In 2021 vocht Red Bull nog met Mercedes om de wereldtitel, het was een extreem felle titelstrijd. Red Bull-teambaas Christian Horner laat aan Motorsport.com weten dat hij hier niet op zit te wachten: "Er is geen greintje in mij dat daaraan moet denken. Ik ben nog steeds aan het bijkomen van 2021. Het behalen van deze resultaten ,zoals recent in Spa, komt door teamwork. Daarom zagen jullie ook onze techneut die voor de banden zorgt de beker ophalen. Dit soort resultaten behaal je niet per ongeluk. Dit zijn gouden tijden voor ons team, ik neem mijn petje af voor iedereen achter de schermen."

Het is ook jammer dat als er suggesties aangedragen worden (bijvoorbeeld aandacht vragen aan de MotoGP of meer plaatsen over de geschiedenis van de F1) er simpelweg niet gereageerd. Ik heb zelf ook wel eens aangegeven te willen helpen in periode als deze, maar dan hoor je niets.

  Er wordt ook aandacht gegeven aan de IndyCar. Waarom dan zo heel af en toe MotoGP? En wie het niet leuk vindt klikt er niet op. Er zijn hier echter best wel wat race fanaten die bijvoorbeeld dingen volgen zoals IndyCar, MotoGP of bijvoorbeeld ook Le Mans.

  indycar zijn wagens. dit is een autosport forum platform. ik denk ook dat bijna niemand zit te wachten hier op 2 wielen nieuws.daar is genoeg over te lezen lijkt mij buiten hier om.
