Verstappen lacht om Norris-geruchten: "We zijn al teamgenoten!"

Het team van Red Bull Racing flirt al geruime tijd met Lando Norris. De Britse coureur beschikt echter over een contract tot en met 2025 bij McLaren. Max Verstappen heeft alle verhalen over Norris ook gehoord en hij kan hier eigenlijk wel om lachen. De Nederlander grapt dat hij al de teamgenoot is van Norris.

Red Bull-adviseur Helmut Marko steekt niet onder stoelen of banken dat hij gecharmeerd is van Norris. De Oostenrijker ziet in Norris een zeer interessante naam voor de toekomst. Het begint er namelijk steeds meer op te lijken dat Sergio Perez in 2025 niet meer voor Red Bull rijdt. De Mexicaan beschikt over een contract tot en met 2024 en Marko hint er steeds vaker op dat hij naar andere mogelijkheden kijkt.

Max Verstappen kan wel lachen om de verhalen over Norris. De twee zijn goede vrienden van elkaar en Verstappen reageert al grappend op de verhalen in gesprek met La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Het zijn dezelfde geruchten die rond gaan over minimaal tien coureurs die aan Ferrari worden gelinkt. Ze zouden daar allemaal al een pre-contract hebben getekend. Lando is één van mijn beste vrienden en hij is één van de beste coureurs op de grid. Zijn contract loopt ook nog tot 2025. Trouwens we zijn al teamgenoten, op de padelbaan."

Zou er snel werk van maken als ik RB was, ook voor de verre toekomst, mocht Max stoppen, soms moet je wat......

  Niet nodig @Dale U, zodra Max stopt en RB is nog een topteam durven alle andere 'topcoureurs' opeens wel bij RB te rijden. dat wordt vechten om een stoeltje...
