Carlin pikt Menezes op bij Van Amersfoort Racing

Gustavo Menezes vervolgt zijn loopbaan bij het team van Carlin in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. De 20-jarige Amerikaan maakte dit jaar zijn debuut in die klasse bij Van Amersfoort Racing en liet in de schaduw van teamgenoot Max Verstappen geregeld aardige dingen zien.

Menezes: "Carlin is een geweldig team en blinkt uit in diverse series. De lijst van coureurs die voor deze renstal gereden hebben en het vervolgens ver schopten is oneindig. Ik kijk ernaar uit om samen te werken met de teamleden en volgend jaar goede resultaten te behalen."

"Zoals elke jonge Amerikaanse coureur hoop ik op een toekomst in de Formule 1, DTM, IndyCar of sportscars. Als ik daarin slaag, dan komt een droom uit. De enige manier om zover te komen is door races te winnen. Bij Carlin moet dat met wat hard werken lukken."
