DAMS bevestigt zes coureurs voor testweek in Abu Dhabi

Het GP2-team DAMS zal deze week met zes coureurs afreizen naar de laatste testweek van 2010. Teambaas Loic David bevestigde vandaag de coureurs voor de testweek in Abu Dhabi waar ook Romain Grosjean in actie zal komen.

Afgelopen seizoen reden Ho-Pin Tung en Jerome D'Ambrosio voor DAMS, ook wel het juniorteam van Renault genoemd, maar beide heren zijn niet opgenomen in de line-up voor de tests. Romain Grosjean, die de laatste races voor het team reed, zal wel plaatsnemen in de geel-zwarte bolide.

Naast Grosjean zullen ook Nathanael Berthon (World Series), Ivan Samarin (Formule 2), Sam Bird (GP2), Pal Verhaug (GP3) en Jan Charouz (World Series) testen voor DAMS. Dat Bird ook voor DAMS zal testen is opmerkelijk te noemen, aangezien de Brit dit jaar bij topteam ART Grand Prix reed en meteen de snelste rookie bleek.
