Tweede training Indy 500 valt in het water

De tweede trainingsdag voor de Indy 500 is letterlijk en figuurlijk in het water gevallen. Voor het eerst sinds 2011 werd er in een vrije training geen enkele ronde gereden. Een natte Indianapolis Motor Speedway is te gevaarlijk om de baan op te gaan.

Er blijven nu nog drie trainingsdagen over voordat het veld zich dit weekend mag gaan kwalificeren voor de 100ste editie van de Indy 500. De beroemde race vindt op dezelfde dag plaats als de Grand Prix van Monaco. Zondag 29 mei staat omcirkeld in de agenda's van een hoop autosportliefhebbers.
