Stoneman maakt IndyCar-debuut tijdens test op Watkins Glen

Voormalig Formule 2-rijder Dean Stoneman heeft afgelopen week zijn debuut gemaakt in de IndyCars. Stoneman, die een tijd uit de running was vanwege teelbalkanker, komt dit jaar uit voo Andretti Autosport in de Indy Lights. Andretti Autosport liet al haar drie IndyCar Lights-coureurs testen op Watkins Glen.

Later dit jaar zal het IndyCar-kampioenschap terugkeren op het legendarische circuit van Watkins Glen. De race wordt verreden in plaats van een race op het stratencircuit van Boston, dat werd geschrapt vanwege organisatorische problemen.
