Hunter-Reay tot en met 2020 bij Andretti

Andretti Autosport heeft het contract met coureur Ryan Hunter-Reay met vier jaar verlengd. De Amerikaan is nu tot en met 2020 aan de renstal verbonden. De 35-jarige Hunter-Reay bestuurt ook de komende vier seizoen de auto met startnummer 28 en DHL-sponsoring.

"Ik kan mijn geluk niet op met de aankondiging dat ik kan blijven racen voor Andretti Autosport, als ambassadeur van DHL", begint de IndyCar-kampioen van 2012. "Na afloop van de komende vier jaar heb ik er bijna een decennium met DHL en elf volledige seizoenen met het team op zitten."

"We hebben samen dertien keer gezegevierd, de Indy 500 gewonnen en de titel op onze naam geschreven. We gaan nog veel meer samen bereiken. We zijn meer een familie dan een team en een sponsor. Ik ben trots dat ik deze groep en dit merk ook de komende jaren mag vertegenwoordigen."
