AJ Foyt Racing stapt over naar Chevrolet

Het team van AJ Foyt Racing maakt komend seizoen gebruik van motoren en aero kits van Chevrolet. De renstal reed in 2005 voor het laatst met Chevrolet-krachtbronnen. Honda vertolkte de voorbije jaren de rol van motorleverancier van AJ Foyt Racing.

AJ Foyt Racing-president Larry Foyt: "Ik kijk uit naar wat voor ons een nieuw hoofdstuk met een oude bekende in de vorm van Chevrolet is. Er verandert deze winter het nodige in ons team en ik wil de uitdaging niet onderschatten, maar ik zie ook veel potentieel in onze plannen."

Conor Daly en Carlos Munoz rijden in 2017 voor AJ Foyt Racing.
