Karam voor Dreyer & Reinbold in Indy 500

Sage Karam maakt dit jaar voor de vierde keer zijn opwachting in de Indy 500. Voor de derde keer doet hij dat met het team van Dreyer & Reinbold Racing. De 21-jarige Amerikaan is normaal gesproken actief in het IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Karam bemant bij de 101ste editie van de Indy 500 de auto met startnummer 24. "Ik ben verguld om weer namens Dreyer & Reinbold Racing deel te nemen aan de Indy 500. De Indy 500 winnen als losstaand evenement is een enorme opgave, maar ik heb vertrouwen in dit team en hun capaciteit om een auto aan de start te brengen die in staat is om te winnen. Ik ga samenwerken met dezelfde engineers en pitcrew als bij mijn vorige twee deelnames aan de Indy 500 en we gaan voortborduren op onze eerder opgedane ervaringen", aldus Karam.
